Shure MV5-B-DIG Home Studio Microphone

The black with red foam Shure MOTIV MV5 is a cardioid USB/Lightning condenser microphone that sports styling reminiscent of Shure's classic Green Bullet harp mic on the outside and high-tech, yet user-friendly electronics on the inside. The low-profile, retro-inspired industrial design creates a visually pleasing microphone optimized for portable audio applications using computers and iPhones as well as iPads equipped with a Lightning port.

The MOTIV MV5 features a custom-tuned cardioid capsule that focuses on capturing the sound directly in front of the mic, with minimal background noise. Three DSP modes (Vocals, Flat, Instrument) automatically handle gain, EQ, compression, and limiting to ensure optimal sound quality without manual tweaking on your part. The mic is made to give you a high-quality sound on the go and it can be used in applications ranging from video conference calls, vlogs, and podcasts, to instrument and vocal recordings, and more.

Also available is an integrated headphone output lets you hear your audio in real time. The detachable desktop stand enables you to easily integrate the mic into your creative space.

The MOTIV MV5 can be used with the ShurePlus MOTIV Mobile Recording app and ShurePlus MOTIV Video app (free downloads available separately) for intuitive editing and sharing of your audio and video recordings via email or text without having to load them on a computer.

The mic comes with cables for USB and Lightning connectivity.
