FBT JMaxX 114A

The newly developed FBT JMaxX 114A is a two-way active loudspeaker that works seamlessly to deliver ease of use alongside flexibility that allows the speakers to be used for portable and installed sound applications including mobile DJs, entertainment facilities, club and bar venues, music venues, schools and colleges, sound reinforcement, and rental companies.

The JMaxX 114A comes fitted with the latest generation 900w Class D amplifier with universal power switching. The amplifier delivers 700w to the 14-inch low-frequency woofer with a 2.5-inch voice coil and 200w to the 1-inch high-frequency compression driver with a 1.4-inch voice coil. Both drivers work in perfect harmony to deliver a robust sound with a frequency response that ranges from 45 Hz – 20 kHz and can provide an impressive sound pressure level of 132dB allowing you to reproduce the most dynamic tracks without any distortion. The 90-degree x 60-degree high-frequency horn delivers a high performance with a highly-accurate and even dispersion around the mid and high-frequencies.

The JMaxx 114A’s rear panel comes equipped with an XLR input and outputs for connecting to mixers, instruments, and microphones, as well as linking multiple speakers together for large PA systems. A digital signal processor provides you with four EQ presets that let the speaker sound as best as possible at all times and includes original, floor/vocal, boost/lounge, and club/DJ. A high-pass filter ensures all the low-end rumble can be taken out of a sound while a GND lift switch lets you eliminate any ground floor loops which could cause feedback.

The loudspeaker’s design comes equipped with a gas-injected form that is designed to eliminate unwanted enclosure resonance and works to reinforce the robust low-frequency performance. The speaker cabinet features angled profiles for wedge angles so you can use the speaker as an on-stage monitor speaker. The speaker’s versatility is taken even further by the multiple mounting and fixing options. There are dual M10 suspension points alongside an integrated 35mm pole mount socket and dual M10 suspension points for suspending the speaker if required.
