The VANTEC-118A- 18" active line array subwoofer was designed as the companion subwoofer to the DAS VANTEC-20A curved source line array speaker (sold separately). The compact 118A can be flown or deployed in ground stacks using the same DAS Click-Lock rigging system employed by the VANTEC-20A.

Powered by a 2000W peak Class-D amplifier, the 118A provides the type of knee-buckling low end they'll never forget. An integrated "Deep-Loud" switch allows you to tailor the cabinet to produce either a sub-low or chest-thump type response respectively. Gain, polarity, and low-pass filter controls are accessible on the rear panel with the low-pass being variable from 80 to 125Hz. Precise alignment with the VANTEC-20A (sold separately) is possible thanks to phase-coherent engineering within the VANTEC series eliminating the need for external DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
